Business on the Internet since it started becoming commonplace has been dominated by a single concept: search. As the World Wide Web became more widespread and the number of web sites out there started exploding, increasing into the millions, enterprising computer minds realized that there was good money to be made in organizing the sheer volume of content on the web so that it would be accessible by the average person. New search engines popped up left and right, all trying to make a business of searching on the web.
