I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Accessing Actuator endpoints
Let's check out some endpoints that come with Actuator out of the box:
- /application/health: Application health
- /application/info: Application information
- /application/metrics: Metrics information for the application running
- /application/trace: Trace information for the last few HTTP requests
This is not a complete list. This is a list of the most commonly used Actuator endpoints. Since data we access can be sensitive, not all endpoints are enabled by default. To enable all these calls, open your application.properties and update it:
endpoints.health.enabled=true endpoints.trace.enabled=true endpoints.info.enabled=true endpoints.metrics.enabled=true
