In previous chapters, we introduced and categorized the core Atoms that support both Landing Zones and the applications built within them, as detailed in Chapters 5 and 6.
While this model already provides a solid foundation, it still leaves much of the burden on development teams. Even when Atoms are hardened, optimized, and enterprise-ready, no platform team can anticipate every valid combination of components. Without guardrails, the resulting systems may deviate from best practices, fail to meet regulatory standards, or conflict with internal governance policies.
