So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Most enterprise infrastructures are not designed. They are accumulated.
They grow through urgency, exceptions, and short term fixes. Each decision makes sense at the moment it is taken. Taken together, they produce systems no one fully understands, no one clearly owns, and no one feels safe changing. Complexity stops being questioned. Fragility becomes normal.
