3.4.1 Installing and configuring the WebSphere MQ Telemetry daemon for
devices
Installation, configuration, and control of the WebSphere MQ Telemetry daemon for devices is
file-based. The daemon is installed by copying the Software Development Kit (SDK) to the
device where you are going to run the daemon. On Linux (64-bit), the directory path
containing the daemon is /opt/mqm/mqxr/SDK/advanced/DeviceDaemon/linuxia64.
To start the daemon with its default configuration, execute the amqtdd script. The default
