High-Threat Locations for Business Espionage
Abstract
This chapter includes information on which geographic regions and countries have a high threat when it comes to business espionage and examples of why. The threat is high in Asia – especially in Greater China (including the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan) Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore and India. There is also a high threat in Latin America, especially Cuba, Venezuela, Brazil and Mexico. The high threat locations in Europe include Russia, France and Germany. The Middle East includes the Israelis and most Arab countries. Even in Africa, especially South African and Zimbabwe, there are substantial business spying threats.
