It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

To do so, we’ll demonstrate the hoops a developer has to jump through to query data from a variety of different data sources. In doing so, we work with different application programming interfaces (APIs) and query languages, and you’ll see how easy it is for people to mess up things without any compile-time feedback about query correctness.
