In this chapter you learned how to work with contact items through CDO. Contacts, like tasks, are not directly exposed by CDO, but it’s possible to work with them as messages and through the Fields collection. MAPI provides many standard properties for storing contact information, a bonus we didn’t get with task items.

In Chapter 11, you’ll learn how to take what you’ve learned about CDO and apply it to applications written for the Web.
