In this chapter you learned how to write CDO applications for the Web. The IIS environment was discussed, including the security hurdles involved with getting IIS and Microsoft Exchange server to talk nicely with each other. Several examples showed how to program CDO objects from web pages and how to leverage the CDO Rendering Library to do the work of generating HTML output from CDO object properties.
Chapter 12, gives a brief overview of this new technology and shows how to take advantage of its features.
