It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Commissioning Approach
This commissioning handbook will discuss the subject of commissioning any chemical plant asset with the fundemental approach devided into three main stages.
The Commissioning Phases
Prepare
Activities to be taken to set commissioning up, gather information, select the commissioning team, develop the schedule and create documentation.
Implement
This phase, traditionally perceived as “commissioning”, examines the facets that address the installation, checking and start-up of the new equipment.
Close-out
The final stage of the commissioning process and the one most neglected, ensuring that all paperwork systems and trials are complete, and that the plant or equipment has met its acceptance criteria, enabling the ...
