THE BASICS OF COLORED GELS
When it comes to implementing color into your photography, you need to consider a few things. For example, you need take into account already exisiting (ambient) light and its color. Depending on whether you’re shooting in a dimly lit ballroom or a room bathed in sunlight, your ambient light will have a specific color temperature. Will you use it as one of your main light sources and add accent lights to create your shot? Or will you power your strobes high enough to eliminate all ambient light and build your scene one light at a time?
