Components are a means to build larger units of code that establish the real functionality of an application. Components provide structure and create meaningful subunits of code that teams can use to divide work.
We started with looking at how to design the external API for a component—functions, asynchronous calls, and event streams via channels, as well as how to connect those components using core.async.
We also looked at how to implement each component, taking into account its configuration data, dependencies, internal state, and component life cycle.
