Conclusions
In this book, I’ve focused on key CBMP features which shape the way that many producers—at least 2.5 million active Splice users (and many more who use alternative platforms such as Loopcloud, Noiiz, 99 sounds, and others)—create records (King 2019). I have taken readers through numerous applications for CBMP tools within the practice of creating hip-hop beats because this genre features a number of distinctive music-making practices which CBMP services overtly support.
