So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
9.3. Private Cloud Computing mit Microsoft
Eine der häufigsten Fragen, die aus IT-Abteilungen größerer Unternehmen und von Hostern gestellt wird, ist, ob es möglich ist, die Windows Azure Platform auch selbst zu betreiben. Wenngleich dies zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt vielleicht möglich sein wird, ist diese Frage zum aktuellen Zeitpunkt zu verneinen. Die Windows Azure Platform wird ausschließlich in Microsofts Rechenzentren betrieben. Allerdings besteht die Möglichkeit, eine Private Cloud bzw. Hoster Cloud mit Microsofts klassischen Serverprodukten quasi »nachzubauen«. Abbildung 9.1 zeigt die Möglichkeiten.
