Virtualization Practicum
4.1 Chapter Overview
In this chapter, we are going to download and install the Sun VirtualBox product. Then, we will show you how to install and configure it. Next, we will add a virtual operating environment on top of your existing operating system. The beauty of virtualization solutions is that you can run multiple operating systems simultaneously on a single computer. To really understand how powerful an ability that is, you need to see it for yourself. The following illustration shows a draft version of this chapter being written on an Open- Solaris virtual guest operating system running on Windows XP host.
