I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
AWS regions and zones
AWS services are hosted on multiple geographical locations around the world. In the world of AWS, locations consist of regions and availability zones. Each region is an independent geographical location. Each region contains multiple isolated internal locations known as availability zones. Some services — such as Amazon EC2, for example—give you full power as to which regions to use for your service deployment. You can also replicate resources across regions.
