When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Kapitel 11: Bit für Bit für Bit
Eine Geschichte aus den späten 1950ern erzählt von einem Mann, der nach einem Gefängnisaufenthalt die lange Heimreise antrat. Er war unsicher, ob er daheim willkommen wäre, also bat er darum, ihm ein Zeichen zu geben – in Form eines Stoffstücks am Ast eines Baumes. In einer Version der Geschichte reist er mit der Bahn und hofft darauf, ein weißes Band an einem Apfelbaum zu sehen. In einer anderen Version ist er mit dem Bus unterwegs und hält nach einem gelben Stofftaschentuch an einer Eiche Ausschau. In beiden Versionen ist der Baum über und über mit den Stoffbändern geschmückt, sodass es keinerlei Zweifel daran gibt, dass er willkommen ist.
