I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Alle Computer führen Maschinencode aus, aber das Programmieren in Maschinencode ähnelt dem Essen mit einem Zahnstocher: Die Bissen sind so klein und der Prozess ist so langwierig, dass das Abendessen eine Ewigkeit dauert. Die Bytes eines Maschinencodeprogramms führen die winzigsten und simpelsten Berechnungsaufgaben durch, die Sie sich vorstellen können: eine Zahl aus dem Speicher in den Prozessor laden, zu einer anderen Zahl addieren und das Ergebnis wieder in den Speicher schreiben. Betrachtet man ein einzelnes Byte, ist kaum vorstellbar, wie daraus eine komplette »Mahlzeit« in Form eines Programms werden soll.
