Other authors have told me the only people who will read this far in the book will be the people you remember to mention in the acknowledgments. My bigger fear is who I may leave out—those who may wend their way back here and not find their names. Let me apologize in advance if in my haste I may have failed to mention anybody. It's truly been an effort of my entire village to get this book written, published, and promoted. Thank you all!

First and foremost to my dedicated coauthor, Kara Levy, who believed we could do it and kept me going when I was ready to call it quits. She is a gifted writer, efficient editor, and remarkable partner. Moreover she is a talented communication coach on both written and spoken skills. I have gained so much from the gentle (and not so gentle) coaching she's given me during our work together. Without your partnership, this book would merely be a dream I never finished.
