I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

John and I crossed paths at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, where our shared passion for technology sparked a lasting friendship for over 34 years. It was evident that John's exceptional analytical skills propelled him to become the go-to expert in computer security for the International Space Station. As a former Chief Information Officer of the Space Shuttle Program, I was drawn to his expertise, and together, we eagerly delved into discussions about the ever-evolving landscape of information technology. Little did we realize at the time, our workplace conversations regarding IT Security would massively expand into a field vital to technology and society.
