Chapter 5. Encode Video
Encoding is the process of taking your source video and outputting it according to settings that determine its format, quality and file size. As we’ve seen, Encoder allows one to input several video formats. Its output format for use with Silverlight 2 is VC-1 (H.264 support is on the way), which can be used in a variety of venues besides the Web.
