In this chapter I want to take a closer look at the artist's relationship with clients. I will mainly be speaking of ‘clients’ from a freelance perspective, where you come to an agreement with an individual or company to work on a project for a certain amount of time. While the work conditions can be a little different in comparison to an in-house position, I feel that the work itself is pretty similar. As I mentioned before, communication plays a very important role here.
