In this chapter, we will explore cybersecurity awareness-raising in more detail, particularly focusing on techniques to raise awareness in a positive and effective way. This chapter will therefore introduce you to some ideas to implement in your organisation. We will also address the issue of fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD). Unfortunately, the cybersecurity industry has relied on FUD to try to communicate cybersecurity messages for too long, often in an ineffective way.
