Your Nikon Z7 II or Z6 II has more special features than a DVD box set. In designing its Z-series camera platform, Nikon drew on its expertise in providing leading-edge capabilities in the digital single-lens reflex realm and leveraged the advanced features possible with mirrorless technology. As a result, your camera has the kind of totally silent shooting that’s not possible with conventional dSLRs and their clunky mechanical mirrors. You won’t find in-body image stabilization in any Nikon dSLR, and cool features like focus-shift “stacking,” and split-screen live view are currently available only in high-end models like the Nikon D850.
