Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI), in the present time, is a widely utilized technology that is being implemented practically in every sector’s activity and it is a widely discussed topic in the research field the reason for its infinite uses. AI is nothing more than a discipline that applies computer sciences to massive datasets to enable decision-making and problem-solving. Furthermore, it comprises the components of AI known as deep learning (DL) and machine learning (ML), which are normally referred to simultaneously. As the need of the hour, almost every industry is involved in adopting new technologies to improve their operational efficiency in the current technologically sophisticated period, and the finance sector is not exempted from this change. For making stock market predictions, a variety of models, both conventional and technological, are developed. However, in more recent times, all studies have been carried out utilizing various models that may be broadly separated into two categories: DL and ML approaches. It appears that DL and ML share similar principles. However, it is crucial to recognize how the two of them differ from one another. They both fall under the category of AI. While ML is defined as a subclass of AI, DL is regarded as a subsection of ML. The objective of this book chapter is to ...
