This chapter, in effect, follows on from the previous chapter in that it builds upon what we covered in Chapter 9 by replacing the standard Microsoft connection broker elements and the RemoteApp website with the Horizon Connection Server. This enables published applications, published desktop sessions, and full virtual desktop machines to be delivered from the same platform. In this case, that platform is VMware Horizon.
This means that to gain access to their applications, end users will now use the Horizon Client or the Horizon browser connection.
