In the previous chapter, we looked at how to deliver App Volumes application layers within an RDSH environment, using Horizon to broker the published applications to the end users.

In this chapter, we are going to look at how App Volumes integrates into the VMware Horizon View virtual desktop solution to enable the App Volumes application layers to be attached to virtual desktop machines instead of the RDSH servers we discussed in the previous chapter.
