Part IV. Tools for the Machine Teacher
Every trade has its own set of tools for getting the job done, and I want to provide you with some tools that have been helpful for me as I’ve designed autonomous AI. I created an AI specification document that I’ve used to document hundreds of AI brains that I’ve designed and that I teach machine teachers to use as they design their autonomous AI.
I created this document to better organize and communicate all the information that I was getting from the subject matter experts and pass it on to the people who were going to build the AI that I designed.
The second tool that I want to give you is a platform for building the autonomous AI that you design. There are so few AI experts in the world that can build autonomous AI from scratch that it’s important to have a platform that subject matter experts, and engineers like myself, can use to build the autonomous AI that you design. Platform is also really important for combining the various decision-making technologies that you’ll use in most of your brain designs. But first, I want to discuss how designing and building autonomous AI are fundamentally different activities.
