A. A Design Concepts Catalog

This chapter presents an excerpt from a catalog that groups design concepts that are associated with the domain of enterprise applications, such as the one presented in the case study in Chapter 4. As opposed to traditional catalogs that list just a single type of design concept, such as pattern catalogs, the catalog presented here groups different varieties of related design concepts. In this case, the catalog includes a selection of reference architectures, deployment patterns, design patterns, tactics, and externally developed components (frameworks).
