Active Reviews for Intermediate Design (ARID) method A method in which the architecture design (or part of it) is presented to a group of reviewers—typically the engineers who will use the design. After the presentation, a set of scenarios is selected. The reviewers attempt to use the elements in the architecture to satisfy the scenarios. The reviewers are asked to write code or pseudocode or to create sequence diagrams for the purpose of identifying interfaces. This method can be used in preparation for element interaction design.
