Working with Colors and Gradients
In this chapter, we will learn how to create color swatches using CMYK and RGB, as well as discuss options such as spot colors. We will look at creating color swatches from an image, loading and saving swatches using swatch exchange files, creating and saving gradients, and organizing our color swatches using swatch groups. You will learn how to merge two colors, automatically replacing one color with the other anywhere it’s used in the document. Finally, we will show you a little trick to allow you to set up default color swatches so that they appear in every new document that you create going forward.
