I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Wer beim Fotografieren wenig überlegt und einfach »knipst«, begeht meist den Anfängerfehler Nr. 1: Das Wesentliche des Bildgeschehens genau in die Bildmitte zu setzen. Genau davor möchte ich Sie aber bewahren! Dinge in die Bildmitte zu setzen, ist nur in wenigen Ausnahmefällen sinnvoll, und darauf kommen wir auf der nächsten Doppelseite zu sprechen.
So kann es zum einen Sinn machen, mit Symmetrie zu gestalten. Die zweite Möglichkeit, mit der Bildmitte sinnvoll umzugehen, ist die Gestaltung mit der Fluchtperspektive. In fast allen anderen Fällen aber wirkt es eher langweilig, das Wesentliche eines Fotos in die Bildmitte zu setzen!
