Introduction
People often choose a career path without having a clear understanding of what the day-to-day work is like. I have worked with well over 1000 students and countless members of law enforcement, IT professionals, and academics in the digital forensic workspace from all over the world. Few of these individuals had a strong grasp on what a career in digital forensics would look like and I’m convinced one of the reasons for this includes few sources that are accurately descriptive of what the career entails.
