It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

ADC, DAC and Analog-Digital Mix Interfaces
OBJECTIVE
In this chapter, we shall learn the following topics:
Digital circuits are widely used in the control applications. ADC and DAC are used to convert analog to digital and vice versa. We shall be learning these.
Interfacing of a gate with the analog device is another important circuit. We shall be learning the analog-digital mix interfaces in this chapter.

Consider a doctor measuring the body temperature during a sickness. Analog thermometer gives the reading in Fahrenheit as 98°, 99.5°, 100.0°, 100.5°, 101°, 101.5°, …, at most severe condition 105.0°. Pray such a condition never comes!. Thermometer used has markings between 94° F ...
