Artificial intelligence (AI) is the technology that allows machines to interact with humans, data, and the entire ecosystem and learn from this such that they can perform more than what either humans or machines can do on their own.
We are in a period of extraordinary technological innovation that the world has never seen before, and some of the major technology revolutions include mainframe, personal laptop, e‐commerce, mobile, cloud computing, big data, predictive analytics, Internet of Things, smart machines, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing. Digital disruption has caused more than 50% of the Fortune 500 enterprises to go out of business; thus, it's prudent for any enterprise to cope with the latest trend or else face the repercussions. AI is predicted to be the technology of the decade that will be most disruptive to the way businesses are run by the enterprise.
