So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

To understand the basics of directing and producing news programs, it’s important to be familiar with what is known in television production as the “wraparound” format. In the wraparound format, someone leads into and out of story packages. On a news broadcast, the story packages contain the news.
