So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Container reuse
There is a scenario where the function container that has just terminated could be reused.
This ability to reuse a finished function container can greatly reduce the spinning up time, as the initialization process will be completely skipped. Also, there is a drawback where, if a container is reused, the file written to the /tmp directory from the previous execution may still be there.
