It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The officially released and stable version, in our case this is Drupal 7, which is kept up to date with any bugs or security patches required so it is fully supported. Once Drupal 7 was officially released, developers were able to start focusing their efforts on implementing their next version of a brand new and shining Drupal.
