When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Managing our Categories block
Any time we create a new block display using views, we can easily assign it to any region from the Block layout page. Begin by navigating to /admin/structure/block and then follow these nine steps:
- Locate the Sidebar second region.
- Click on the Place block button.
- Locate the Categories block.
- Click on the Place block button.
- Select the Pages tab under Visibility.
- Enter the path
/bloginto the Page text field. - On a second line, add another path to
/blog/*. - Make sure the Show for the listed pages checkbox is selected.
- Click on the Save block button.
With our Categories block assigned to the Sidebar second region, we will now need to add the Sidebar second region to our page.html.twig template before we can preview it.
