It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Der Umfang dieses Buches
Obwohl in diesem Buch alle Grundlagen von Python behandelt werden, haben wir den Rahmen möglichst klein gehalten. Anders ausgedrückt: Die Darstellung konzentriert sich auf die Kernkonzepte und ist manchmal bewusst einfach gehalten. Sie benutzt kurze und abgeschlossene Beispiele zur Verdeutlichung von Sachverhalten und lässt manchmal kleine Details weg, die man leicht in Referenz-Handbüchern finden kann. Aus diesem Grund ist dieses Buch vielleicht am besten als Einführung und gleichzeitig als Sprungbrett zu anspruchsvolleren und vollständigeren Texten zu verstehen.
Wir werden z.B. die Python/C-Integration nicht behandeln, ein komplexes Thema, das dennoch für viele auf Python basierende Systeme von zentraler Bedeutung ist. ...
