It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Über die Programme im Buch
Dieses Buch und alle Programmbeispiele darin basieren auf der Python-Version 2.5. Da wir hier den Sprachkern beschreiben, können Sie ziemlich sicher sein, dass das meiste hiervon sich in späteren Versionen von Python nicht verändern wird. Der größte Teil des Buchs gilt auch für frühere Python-Versionen. Als Faustregel gilt: Das aktuelle Python ist das beste Python. Weil dieses Buch sich vor allem auf den Sprachkern konzentriert, gilt das meiste davon auch für Jython, die Java-basierte Implementierung von Python, aber auch für weitere Python-Implementierungen, die in Chapter 2 beschrieben sind.
