H. Scott Fogler is the Ame and Catherine Vennema professor of chemical engineering and the Arthur F. Thurnau professor at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He was recognized as a 2020 Michigan Distinguished Professor of the year, and was the 2009 National President of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), a 50,000-member organization. He received his B.S. from the University of Illinois and his M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Colorado. He is also the author of the Essentials of Chemical Reaction Engineering, Second -Edition, and coauthor, with Steven LeBlanc and Benjamin Rizzo, of Strategies for Creative ...
