preface
There are a great number of books on the subject of elliptic curve cryptography (ECC). Few of them have any code or explanations of how the code works. This book helps you understand both the mathematics and the code that implements that math. This book focuses on practical applications, so there are no mathematical proofs in this book. If the code works, the math is obviously correct. If the code fails, the code obviously has a bug. That’s all the proof we need.
The mathematics of elliptic curves has been studied for over 300 years, and it’s still an active area of research. This book cannot begin to present the depth of this field. We cover what we need to ensure solid cryptographic security can be implemented. While I found isogeny ...
