Abstract

The unusual outbreak of Corona virus disease 2019 or COVID-19 (the disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus 2) in December 2019 in the Wuhan city of China terrifically affected the people all over the world. People find it difficult to combat with COVID-19 due to insufficient availability of resources and expertise. Technologies are advancing with an exponential rate and are providing solutions to explore capabilities and mitigate the devastating impact of COVID-19. Emerging technologies are playing a major role in managing the current situation. People from all most all sectors are trying their best to delve into technological solutions to the problems caused by this pandemic.
