Zahiruddin Muhammad Babar of Fargana was no exception, in spite of his illustrious lineage from Timur on the paternal side and Genghis Khan on the maternal. However, there was another unique quality in the man, his inexhaustible energy to conquer and ambition to find himself a permanent place in the sun, which ensured his success in his endeavour for political power.
