Appendix A. Lab Environment Used for This Book
You may not be able to (or want to) use your production environment for working with cmdlets as you write and test them. For this reason, I have included a brief description of the lab environment I used in the writing of this book. Although this is the environment I used, you have a number of options in addition to this one. I used a virtual platform so that I could have multiple servers up and running at the same time. I also needed it to run on my laptop because I travel extensively.
