Parts I and II provide a general approach that is completely independent of the programming language used to develop Fit tables. In general, the same Fit tables may be used with different languages, although the fixture code will clearly be different. The C# code for fixtures is similar to the Java code shown in this book, so C# programmers will find the example code easy to follow and translate into C#.
As well as Java, implementations of Fit are available for the following programming languages and systems:
• C# and the .Net platform
• C++
• Delphi
• Lisp
• Objective C
• Perl
• Python
• Ruby
• Smalltalk
