Loading SWFs into SWFs

Why would you want to load one SWF into another one? If you have read Lesson 7, you probably understand why sometimes it’s best to keep photographs outside the SWF as separate JPG files and load them in as needed. Loading external SWFs follows a similar logic, but the technique adds even more flexibility to your Flash work.

Imagine a Flash movie about motorcycle maintenance and repair. The opening graphic shows a motorcycle in side view. As you mouse over the wheels, the handlebars, the engine, and so on, text boxes pop up and invite you to click for more information.
