Who This Book Is For
A funny thing happened on the way to publication. I originally intended this book as purely for beginners. But during the review process, beta readers of diverse experience levels told me they found it tremendously useful. Having incorporated the suggestions of numerous readers, I feel this book serves a number of potential audiences.
This book is primarily geared toward beginning Flash users who want to bring their project ideas to life. Even if you’re a beginner, I assume you’re relatively intelligent and motivated, that you have a general familiarity with typical graphics programs and web browsers, and perhaps some HTML experience. I don’t assume any programming experience, but familiarity with JavaScript will make it easier to follow the programming examples (which I introduce gently).
