Naïve Style

Naïve style is quite childlike in its simplicity. It can be difficult to teach someone this type of artistic style because it is a very intuitive and personal process. Thus, most folk artists who use a naïve style are self-taught. The key to painting in a naïve style is to just let go. Don’t try to make it look “right” or realistic.
